Karpaga Vinayakar of Pillayarpatti ( one of the few instances where the village itself takes the name of Ganapati), is a soul-stirring idol set in a temple of exquisite beauty.
The temple is about 15 kilometers from Karaikkudi, in Pasumpon Muthuramalingam District, Tamil Nadu.
